silver milk creamer - Francethis is a silver empire milk creamer of vase shape, raised on four paw feet headed by palmettes, the handle with a ram's head at the base. It was made in France in the 2nd half of 19th century. The creamer is hallmarked with "Minerva" (corresponding to 950/1000 for French silver) and wild boar head on the handle (800/1000 silver) and is 6 1/2 in. high (cm. 16). The creamer was bought at an Antiques auction in Italy. This item is not for sale, but most of my pieces were bought through the Internet.
