silver matchbox holder - Latvia
this is a silver matchbox holder made in Latvia circa 1925, embossed with a floral motif and engraved with monogram and, on the back, with date 1.I.1928.The matchbox holder has 875/1000 Latvian mark and JB for silversmith.
It is 2 1/4 in. long (cm. 6) and was bought from an Italian dealer at an Antique Fair.
