black forest barometer - Germany
this is a barometer on carved wood in ' black forest ' style. The barometer's gauge has French indications and the thermometer is on centigrade degrees.
It was made, probably in Germany or France, in the first half of 20th century.
The barometer is 18 in. long (cm. 45) and was bought from an Italian dealer at an Antique Fair.
