silver coffee pot - England
this is a silver Victorian coffee pot with London hallmarks, year 1899. It bears the mark of the maker and retailer "Goldsmiths Company, 112 Regent Street, London".It is of tapered cylindrical form, side handled, hinged cover with wood finial. Its shape is usually called "egoiste" for its small dimension.
The coffee pot is 6 1/2 in. high (cm 16) and was bought from an Italian dealer at an Antique market.
