Georgian silver shaving brush - Englandthis is a silver shaving brush made about 1800. It bears an interesting crest with a 'leopard's head' and a swan over a crown. The halmark is rubbed but the 'lion passant', the duty mark (George III) and maker' mark (?.N) is also readable. The shaving brush is 5.5 in. long (14 cm) including bristles and was bought from an UK dealer through the Internet This item is not for sale, but most of my pieces were bought through the Internet. On the right bar of this page there are some advertisings of websites of silver and antique dealers | ||
