raised edge silver tray - Lombardo Veneto (Italy)this is a hand hammered silver tray with raised edge made in Venice (Lombardo Veneto) about 1850. The tray has 1812-1872 Lombardo Veneto hallmarks for 800/1000 silver purity degree (mondo e trioni) and Venice assay office (ornamento di poppa). The silversmith's hallmark (a key between BZ) is unidentified (maybe Zaramella - Padova). The tray was once more marked about 1950 with Italian hallmarks: '800' (silver purity degree) and 30PD (silversmith Zaramella - Padova). The tray is 8 in. wide (cm. 20), 1 1/8 in. tall (3 cm.) and was bought from an Italian dealer through the Internet. This item is not for sale, but most of my pieces were bought through the Internet.
