briar wood and silver cigarette box - Italy
this briar wood cigarette case with silver lid and thumbpiece was made by an Italian silversmith in Florence.The silver lid bears the "fascio" hallmark used in Italy between 1935/1940.
The box is 6 3/4 in. wide (cm. 17) and was bought from an Italian dealer at an Antique Fair.
