SILENT BUTLER
silver silent butler is a small receptacle with handle and hinged cover used for
collecting ashes and crumbs.

This silver 'silent butler' was made in Italy around 1935/1940.
It has an ivory handle and stands on four paw feet with palmette head. The fully engraved lid has a double
flower thumbpiece.
It is 8 1/4 in. wide (cm. 21)
